Professor Dr. Shukr Mahmoud Khalil, a lecturer at the College of Science, Department of Mathematics, was honored with the Iraqi Science Day Award, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq. Dr. Shukr Mahmoud Khalil came in second place in Iraq in the specialization of (Pure Sciences) after publishing scientific research in a reputable journal affiliated with Elsevier Publishing House with an impact factor of (Impact Factor: 7.5).
