The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra held an awareness lecture entitled "Traffic Law and Traffic Safety Concepts" in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit.
The lecture aims to educate attendees and students about the concept of traffic safety and traffic law, its most important objectives, and how to achieve them in a way that ensures the preservation of private and public property, reduces accidents, and preserves the safety of pedestrians and drivers.
The lecture, presented by Colonel Salah Ramadan Muhalhal Al-Asadi, included an introduction to traffic signs and traffic rules, noting the importance of traffic safety in order to maintain their personal safety on the roads, respect traffic regulations, and use the road properly to preserve everyone's lives.
The lecture recommended the necessity of adhering to and applying traffic safety rules and tools to ensure safety on the roads, facilitate traffic movement, and all preventive measures to reduce or prevent traffic accidents to ensure the safety of people and their property, and preserve the security of the country and its human and economic components.
