Student Fatima Hussam Mahdi at the College of Dentistry at the University of Basra won the gold medal in the first stage for individual students for her lecture entitled Artificial Intelligence in Dental Diagnosis.
The aim of the Olympiad is to give students the opportunity to showcase their scientific talents and develop and refine their literary courage to be the nucleus of their future studies in completing their scientific journey.
More than 117 male and female students from six Iraqi universities and more than three Arab countries participated to compete for the Fourth Scientific Olympiad for Arab University Students for the year 2024-2025, where the results were announced in cooperation with the Yaqeen Scientific Platform at the College of Science at the University of Basra.
Scientific, humanitarian, engineering and medical presentations were presented to compete and choose the best in terms of PowerPoint design, smoothness of presentation, aesthetics of delivery and persuasion.
