College of Engineering, University of Basra receives a delegation from China's Energy Company

The College of Engineering at the University of Basra received a delegation from China's Energy Company to view the engineering laboratories where various tests of building materials are conducted. The visit focused in particular on the soil and transportation laboratory, the construction materials laboratory in the Civil Engineering Department, and the laboratories of the Electrical Engineering Department.
The visit aimed to discuss the possibility of signing a cooperation contract between the company and the Engineering Consulting Office of the University of Basra, which includes implementing all tests related to building materials for the company's projects in the city of Basra, especially the solar power plant project in the Artawi area.
The delegation was accompanied during the visit by the Dean of the College of Engineering, the Director of the Consulting Office, and the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, in addition to a number of consultants specialized in the tests required by the company.
