The College of Nursing at the University of Basra participated in the central memorial ceremony organized by the Department of Media and Government Communication and the Department of University Follow-up at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Islamic Cultural Center of the South, a central memorial ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom of the leaders of victory, may God bless their souls, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and Qasem Soleimani.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students of the college.The memorial service included reciting verses from the Holy Quran and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs and the martyrs of the Holy Popular Mobilization Forces, as well as enthusiastic words and popular poems recited by poets expressing love for the homeland and defending the faith and sanctities, a performance of a couplet by the Fatemiyoun band and a celebration of the achievements of the student team (Creatives from My University), and a screening of a short narrative film that embodies the story of martyrdom, sacrifice and redemption.
