Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Department of art education at the Faculty of Fine Arts held a celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), in an atmosphere where spirituality was mixed with culture.
The ceremony began with a fragrant recitation, followed by words and poems that addressed the exploits of Imam Ali (PBUH) and his noble values of Justice, altruism and wisdom. The ceremony also included artistic and poetic segments that added a creative character to the event.
The ceremony witnessed a distinguished presence of faculty professors, staff and students, and concluded by thanking the organizers of this event, which highlighted the cultural and artistic side of the values of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as a symbol of love and peace.
