The College of Education for Pure Sciences held an awareness campaign entitled Energy Guidance in cooperation with the Student Activities Department on the importance of rationalizing energy consumption.
The campaign included awareness workshops on the best practices of energy conservation.
This campaign consists of a group of volunteers from Basra Governorate, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department, to enhance community participation and achieve sustainable development goals.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Majid Muhammad Jassim, confirmed that the initiative launched by a group of volunteers from Basra Governorate is an important step towards enhancing awareness in the field of energy conservation.
The Dean stressed the importance of cooperation between the college and the local community in achieving the goals of the campaign, and deepening the concept of environmental and social responsibility among students and citizens.
