
University of Basrah Organizes a Scientific Symposium Titled “Happiness in Its Qur’anic Conceptâ€
The College of Administration and Economics – Qurna, at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a scientific symposium titled “Happiness in Its Qur’anic Concept†on Monday, January 27, 2025. The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Qahtan Al-Halfi.
The symposium explored the concept of happiness from the perspective of the Holy Qur’an, highlighting verses that emphasize achieving tranquility and inner peace through adherence to Qur’anic values and living by the principles of faith and noble ethics.
The event aimed to deepen the understanding of true happiness as presented in Qur’anic texts and to clarify its impact on individuals and society in daily life.
Discussions included practical ways to apply Qur’anic concepts to attain happiness, with real-life examples guiding attendees toward achieving psychological and social balance. The symposium witnessed active participation from attendees, who praised the content of the lecture and benefited from the insights and applications presented.
