The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a scientific lecture entitled "The Administrative Path of Promotion Process" and to review the latest developments in the mechanism of scientific promotions.
The lecture aims to identify the most important conditions for the requirements of scientific promotion for lecturers and for different scientific ranks, and the mechanism for collecting points for the purpose of promoting the promotion process for lecturers. The collection of points depends on several axes, namely the research submitted and the type of scientific journals published in it, as well as a number of activities for lecturers.
The scientific lecture, in which Professor Dr. Salman Sahib Atshan, Chairman of the Promotions Committee, lectured, included the mechanism that scientific committees must work with and remove all obstacles to the promotion process and expedite the completion of transactions according to the time periods allocated to them.
The lecture recommended setting legal frameworks for promoting the transaction and the reasons that lead to the rejection of the transaction and avoiding all obstacles in order to expedite the completion of promotions, which are considered the scientific fruit of the academic professor.
