University of Basrah organizes a workshop on journal audit mechanism.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the mechanism of auditing journals in scientific promotions with the participation of members of the scientific committees.
The workshop aimed to train researchers on how to check scientific journals.
The workshop, which was attended by Dr. Basil Abdul-Zahra and Dr. Tahsin Ali Saki from the Faculty of Science, included introducing researchers to the steps of examining and auditing research submitted for promotions, local and international journals and sober journals that have internationally approved impact factors and are registered in international repositories and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and predatory and commercial journals, taking into account the Promotions Law and the instructions attached to it.
