The Department of Geology in the College of Science at Basra University organized a lecture entitled Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems applications. The lecture given by Assistant Teacher Hawraa Dawai, which aimed to explain what remote sensing is, and the possibility of using it in multiple fields, as these technologies allow the integration and analysis of spatial and non-spatial data for various sciences.
