University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on Parasite Fixation and Imaging

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on parasite fixation and imaging after diagnosis using both traditional and modern methods.
The workshop aimed to shed light on the types of parasites, diagnostic methods, and both microscopic and macroscopic imaging techniques.
The workshop, which included lectures from several faculty members specializing in parasitology, featured presentations on the latest research and studies in parasitic diagnosis, examination methods, traditional detection of infections in humans and animals, as well as modern molecular detection. Practical applications in examination, diagnosis, and imaging of various types of parasites were also conducted
