Dr. Raghda Issam Salim, a lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine at the College of Medicine at the University of Basrah, participated in the Third Kurdistan Medical Conference, which was held in the city of Erbil from 19-21/2/2025, as part of the distinguished scientific activities of the College of Medicine staff.
The doctor presented a scientific research entitled “Assessment of Public Knowledge and Awareness Regarding Rheumatological Diseases”, which dealt with the evaluation of knowledge and public awareness regarding rheumatic diseases.
The research aims to shed light the importance of community awareness and enhance the public's understanding of these diseases and their impact on public health, which contributes to improving the mechanisms of early detection and treatment.
