The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a field visit to the mixed primary school of the University Pearls located in the university housing in Bab Al-Zubair site.
A number of researchers and instructors from the center participated in the visit.
The visit included urging students to adopt positive behaviors towards the environment, whether at home, school or on the street to reduce environmental pollution.
By adopting environmentally friendly practices, such as reducing waste, recycling, and using resources sustainably, schools can contribute to reducing environmental pollution.
The teaching delegation presented models of preserved aquatic organisms, colorful scientific posters with a simplified explanation of the importance of biodiversity in the marine environment and the necessity of identifying organisms in our environment, serving the school community and future generations in Basra, the land of goodness and giving..
