The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra organized a scientific symposium entitled "Psychological Effects of Ramadan Habits",
The symposium aimed to shed light on the psychological challenges that individuals may face during the month of Ramadan, ways to achieve psychological balance, and the impact of Ramadan habits on psychological and social health.
The symposium, presented by Dr. Ikthar Khalil Ibrahim, Dr. Muntadhar Mughmas, and lecturer Hanin Jawad Kazim, included addressing the impact of fasting in enhancing spiritual atmosphere and reassurance, strengthening family and social ties, avoiding psychological exhaustion, maintaining the simplicity of daily life and the necessity of allocating time for rest to avoid the pressure of social occasions, avoiding negative habits that affect work and productivity, and maintaining a balance between worship and daily obligations
