The College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra, Women's Affairs Unit, under the supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College of Education for Girls, Dr. Amal Muhammad Abdul Karim, and with the participation of an elite group of female lecturers and students, organized an awareness campaign to reduce the phenomenon of electronic blackmail.
The awareness campaign included the distribution of awareness stickers warning of the danger of electronic blackmail and its dire consequences for the individual and the family and ways to avoid it.
It aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of this phenomenon and how to avoid its causes and how to treat and prevent it.
