The Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the application of nanoparticles and plant extracts in the bioremediation of bacterial pollution of water.
The seminar, in which graduate student - Master's degree Mustafa Abdul Karim Jadou lectured, aimed to apply nanoparticles, specifically plant silver particles and plant extracts of the chasteberry and cassia plants in treating bacterial pollution of water.
The seminar addressed the most important applications of nanoparticles such as medical, technological, agricultural, industrial and environmental applications, etc. as an easy, fast, inexpensive and environmentally safe method.
