Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, president of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra organized the follow-up division in cooperation with the Health Control Unit, restaurants and cafeterias at the University of Basra a workshop on public health and food safety.
The workshop aims to preserve public health for the safety of citizens, students and professors from irregular risks in eating some foods and too many of them, which constitutes a dangerous symptom for human health and causes many diseases such as cancer, stress, sugar and depression.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Nawfal Abdul Amir Hussein from the Faculty of Agriculture, and attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Saleh Dasher and assistant professor Dr. Youssef Jabbar Fattah from the Faculty of engineering, included a detailed explanation of the time times to eat properly and achieve the balance between vegetarian and acidic food through meat and others such as diabetes, pressure and others.
