The College of Education/Qurna at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit, organized a charitable initiative to distribute food baskets to female students of internal departments on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, as part of its efforts to support female students and provide them with the appropriate atmosphere during the holy month.
The baskets included a variety of basic food items that help the students prepare breakfast and suhoor meals, such as rice, oil, dates, sugar, flour, and legumes.
The university confirmed that this initiative comes within its humanitarian and social programs aimed at supporting students, especially those residing in the internal departments, and providing an appropriate environment that helps them focus on their studies during the holy month.
The initiative was widely welcomed by the female students, who expressed their gratitude for this generous gesture that reflects the spirit of solidarity and cooperation in the university community.
