A master's thesis from the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra examined the relationship between motivation and grammar learning strategies among Iraqi learners of English as a foreign language.
The thesis, presented by student Maryam Abdul-Hassan Hussein, examined the relationship between motivation and grammar learning strategies among Iraqi learners of English as a foreign language. It focused on identifying levels of motivation and the frequency of use of grammar learning strategies among Iraqi learners.
The thesis concluded with the use of two instruments: (a) the Academic Motivation Scale, designed by Vallerand et al. (1992), and (b) the Grammar Learning Strategies Inventory, developed by Pawlak (2018). The content validity of the two scales was determined by committees from various universities
