The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at University of Basrah organized a seminar on the establishment of a Human Rights Unit. The lecture, delivered by Dr. Hassan Maleh Nasser, from the Department of Computer Information Systems, aimed to introduce professors, staff, and students to the Human Rights Unit and follow up on matters related to students' human rights, including the educational environment, dress code, people with special needs, and follow-up. The seminar also focused on supporting students, their academic and cultural output, and their activities, meeting with representatives, and allocating regular meetings for them. The seminar also addressed many other issues. The seminar addressed the university's role in developing the importance of rights and giving them high priority. It included numerous contributions from attendees, particularly academic institutions.
