University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Strategic Change Management
The College of Administration and Economics - Al-Qurna, Department of Project Management at the University of Basrah, organized a workshop titled “Strategic Change Management: How Do Organizations Adapt to Transformations?” under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Basma Kazar Hassan. The workshop targeted fourth-year students.
The workshop was presented by a group of students: Tayba Sabah Joudeh, Zainab Mohammed Hadi, Mujtaba Imad Suwadi, Ali Habib Ali, and Muntadhar Khalid. They covered the concept of change management, its importance in keeping pace with transformations, and adaptation strategies such as effective communication, employee involvement, and training and development.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing that effective change management is a vital tool to ensure organizational success amid rapid transformations. It also highlighted the importance of careful planning in achieving institutional adaptation.
