The seminar, presented by Dr. Raja Mohammed Abdullah, reviewed the importance of thin films in technological and industrial fields, their potential application in electronic devices, solar cells, transistors, and linear and nonlinear optical applications. It also addressed the effect of irradiation on the morphology of thin films using possible diagnostics, and the scientific methods for preparing thin films using gamma rays.
