University of Basrah Initiates Second Tree Planting and Afforestation Campaign

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah has launched its second campaign to plant a variety of seedlings in the college garden, enhancing shade and adding aromatic scents. Several students actively participated in the initiative.
The campaign aims to promote environmental awareness among students, foster teamwork in volunteer activities, and educate them on plant care and the importance of maintaining greenery through regular irrigation.
As part of the campaign, dozens of flower and shrub seedlings, suited to Basra's climate and provided by the College of Agriculture, were planted throughout the college garden.
