Basra University Organizes Workshop on the Role of Financial Inclusion in Project Financing
The Investment and Finance Department at the College of Administration and Economics – Al-Qurna, Basra University, organized a workshop titled "The Role of Financial Inclusion in Project Financing," aimed at enhancing the knowledge of fourth-year students about the importance of financial inclusion and its role in supporting the business sector.
The workshop covered several key topics, including the concept of financial inclusion, its strategic objectives in financing companies, the target groups, and its impact on enhancing the financial sustainability of institutions. Emphasis was also placed on how to develop a clear strategic vision for financial institutions and businesses in alignment with the principles of financial inclusion.
A number of fourth-year students participated in presenting the workshop, where they discussed both the theoretical and practical aspects of financial inclusion, highlighting its role in stimulating economic growth, improving financing opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises, and increasing the integration of individuals and institutions into the formal financial system.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities that the college aims to organize to enhance students' practical knowledge and connect them with the latest developments in the fields of finance and investment.
