Dentistry College at Basra University held a lecture entitled "How to Write a Professional CV" for fourth- and fifth-year students, as part of Basra's University Rehabilitation and Employment Center's lectures.
The lecture aimed to train students on how to write a professional and innovative CV when applying for private sector employment. This means limiting the number of pages on the CV to no more than two, avoiding excessive embellishment, keeping your explanation brief, and reviewing your CV upon completion.
The lecture, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hazem Saad Jabbar and Lecturer Dr. Shatha Qasim Kazim, covered the following information: A CV should always begin with personal and contact information, along with a brief profile. This section is one of the most important parts of a CV. Additionally, students should include their academic qualifications and training, including their majors at the college and university, followed by their experience, participation, and university activities.
