The College of Science at the University of Basra discussed the master's thesis of student Hawra Saadoun Kazim, titled "Study of the Interaction of High-Energy Electrons with Light Ions Using the Born-Bethe Approximation."The thesis included the calculation of integral and differential cross sections, probability and transition time, line strength, and general oscillator strength.It aimed to study the impact of approximate methods and the accuracy of their results, understand the interactions of ions with charged particles, and understand their impact on physical and chemical properties. This would contribute to the development of theoretical models and the accurate interpretation of scientific phenomena.
