The College of Science at the University of Basrah discussed the doctoral thesis of researcher Marwa Hamid Hanzel, entitled Electron-Positron Collisions with the Particles NF, NF₂, NF₃, CO₂, C₂H₆, HCN, CF₃I, CHI₃, and AsBr₃. The thesis included a study of the elastic scattering of electrons and positrons with particles such as NF, NF₂, NF₃, CO₂, C₂H₆, HCN, CF₃I, CHI₃, and AsBr₃ using advanced computational methodologies. It aimed to improve the understanding of particle-particle interactions and their applications in quantum mechanics, radiation physics, nanotechnology, and medical imaging.
