Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science and the supervision and follow-up of the Head of the Mathematics Department, the College of Science's Department of Mathematics held a celebration marking the 61st anniversary of the founding of the University of Basrah. The celebration included a variety of events, including poetry seminars, presentations about the university, the department, and its activities, charity markets, art exhibitions, and various scientific outputs.
