The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a workshop titled "Sound Scientific Research Methods," highlighting accurate scientific methodologies.
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with sound scientific research methods and enhance researchers' skills in formulating research titles, writing scientific abstracts, and avoiding common errors in research preparation. This will contribute to raising the level of academic and research quality among students and researchers.
The workshop, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hanaa Ali Hussein, included training graduate students on the steps of scientific research, starting with selecting a title, writing the problem statement, formulating hypotheses, and ending with analyzing the results and writing the final recommendations.
The workshop recommended encouraging researchers and graduate students to follow a rigorous scientific approach in designing and implementing their research to ensure the quality and credibility of the results.
It also focused on reviewing recent scientific literature and linking it to the research focus to ensure the originality of the topic and clearly identifying research gaps.
