The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra held a scientific lecture entitled "The Role of Pure Calcium Silicate Phosphate in Apical Sealing with Long-Term Follow-Up: Clinical Cases" as part of the lecture series of the Second International College of Dentistry Conference entitled "The Latest Developments in Modern Dentistry."
The scientific lecture aimed to raise the scientific level, introduce dentists to the importance of alkaline calcium silicate phosphate in apical sealing with long-term follow-up clinical cases, and demonstrate the long-term sustainability of the seal. This has been proven by clinical case follow-up.
The lecture, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Bahaa Abdul Razzaq Jari, included complex clinical cases with inflammation. Complete healing occurred within a short period of time, with healing and bone healing continuing for nine years and continuing to this day.
The lecturer recommended looking for a good sealer material that contains a pure amount of calcium silicate phosphate without additives, so that the reaction with water is complete and gives us the bone material hydroxyapatite.
