On the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the University of Basra, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit
at the University of Basra - College of Education for Humanities, in cooperation with the
Department of English Language, the Continuing Education Unit, and Siraj Al-Ma'rifa Training and Development Company, organized a training workshop titled "English Club"
led by trainer Janan Nasser Katami. The workshop included a series of interactive activities aimed at enhancing the participants' conversational skills. The workshop began with an icebreaker activity to create an atmosphere of interaction and enthusiasm among the students. This was followed by the main activity, which consisted of interactive conversations simulating various airport stations. Participants played various roles, such as passport officers, travelers, and others, adding a practical and enjoyable atmosphere to the workshop.
