The President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, conducted an inspection visit to the College of Marine Sciences, accompanied by the Director of the Department of Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhannad Hamid Abboud Al-Jaberi, and the Secretary of the University Council, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Abdullah Natiq. The visit aimed to follow up on the ongoing preparations for the start of final exams for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The delegation was received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Qasim Khalifa, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdul-Hussein Hatem Ghazi, and a number of college professors.
The visit included a tour of the examination halls to review their readiness and the availability of the necessary supplies to ensure the smooth and orderly running of the examination process. The importance of providing a suitable environment for students and adhering to approved academic and administrative standards was also emphasized.
The President of the University praised the efforts of the College Deanship and administrative staff in creating a conducive environment for students, stressing the need to continue providing the best educational services and supporting the academic progress at the university.
