The University of Basrah Organizes Workshop on the Scientific Animal Dissection Methods
The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the teaching Veterinary Hospital, organized a specialized workshop "Scientific Methods for Sample Collection from Dead or Infected Animals and Using it in Diagnosis of the Epidemic and Infectious Diseases."
The workshop aimed to explain the latest dissection techniques used in detecting serious and transmissible diseases.
Were faculty members who specialist in related major participate in the workshop, which included informative lectures on the scientific methods for dissecting infected and dead animals, as well as procedures for collecting blood, lymph, and tissue biopsies to determine the causes of death and identify different pathological conditions.
