In the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Haider Awfi Ahmed, a master's thesis was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Basra. The thesis, titled "The Effect of Competitive Exercises Using a Pressing Style on Developing Some Physical Abilities and Complex Skills of Deaf and Mute Futsal Players," was presented by researcher Sami Awda Saleh, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Aqeel Hassan Faleh. The thesis highlighted the importance of "the role of competitive exercises using a pressing style in raising the physical abilities and complex skills of deaf and mute futsal players, and the extent to which these exercises align with the specificity of the game and achieve its objectives by developing the physical and complex skill performance of deaf and mute futsal players." The aim of this study is to: 1. Develop competitive exercises using a pressing style for deaf and mute futsal players. 2. Identify the differences between the pre- and post-tests of physical abilities and complex skills for the experimental and control groups. 3. Identify the post-test differences between the experimental and control groups in physical abilities and complex skills. The discussion committee consisted of the following professors: 1. Prof. Dr. Abdul Ali Jaafar Muhammad (Chairman), 2. Prof. Dr. Mahasin Hussein Fadhel (Member), 3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Kazim Issa Kazim (Member), 4. Prof. Dr. Aqil Hassan Faleh (Member and Supervisor).
The researcher called for: 1. Adopting the training curriculum prepared by the researcher for training futsal players (for the deaf and mute).
2. It is the duty of governmental and sports institutions to care for people with special needs and provide all their needs and requirements in order to raise their athletic levels, given their athletic talents, perseverance, and desire to reach the highest levels.
