A master's thesis at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basra examined "Spatial Variation in Recorded Fetal Mortality in Dhi Qar Governorate." The thesis, presented by student Saddam Radi Abdul-Sada, aimed to reveal the size and growth of fetal mortality rates in Dhi Qar Governorate for the year 2023 AD, to identify the spatial variation in the number and percentages of fetal deaths among the administrative units of Dhi Qar Governorate, and to study their geographical distribution. The study included a theoretical framework, including a study of the size and growth of fetal mortality and its geographical distribution in Dhi Qar Governorate, represented by tables and graphs. It also examined the demographic characteristics of mothers and the factors affecting them in Dhi Qar Governorate. The standard score was used and represented on distribution maps. It also examined fetal mortality measures by age, gender, and environmental level, in addition to the causes affecting fetal mortality.
