Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, our college held its annual scientific conference to discuss graduation research projects for fourth-year students for the 2024-2025 academic year (under the slogan "Student Graduation Projects: A Fundamental Pillar for Building and Developing the Nation").
Al-Nawab stated that discussing research projects does not diminish the value and effort of the student's research, but rather serves as a means of teaching them how to use the principles of scientific research. Furthermore, graduation projects aim to create a competitive environment among students to select the best research projects that address the most important problems and develop appropriate solutions.
The students presented their projects to the relevant committee and presented the most important results of these research projects through a presentation. The members of the relevant committees discussed the projects and urged the students to complete as many projects as possible, taking into account the circumstances they face. They also guided them to address the problems they encountered during the research period and develop practical solutions to difficulties. It is worth noting that the College of Nursing at the University of Basra holds this conference annually to compete among college students and nominate outstanding projects that benefit society through developments, taking into account academic scientific research.
The deputies added, "We hope that the graduation research presented by the students will be a scientific contribution to the development of scientific research in healthcare institutions and the university."
They also wished our dear students success and that they will achieve the highest academic ranks in service to their beloved governorate and country.
