Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad al-Nawab, and the follow-up of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Dawood, the final theoretical exams for the College of Nursing at the University of Basra began today, Monday, June 16, 2025. These exams were held according to the timetables set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency.
First-year students at the college took their final theoretical exams for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Al-Nawab stated that the college had previously equipped the examination halls with all necessary equipment and created a suitable environment for students to be comfortable while taking their exams.
He also stated that the examination process is receiving attention and follow-up from the college deanship and the committees formed in accordance with the issued administrative orders, and is proceeding at an integrated pace to maintain a solid academic level for students.He also pointed out the effective role of the examination committee and teaching staff and their continuous follow-up of students, providing all logistical requirements and providing the appropriate examination environment for students to succeed in the final exams, wishing all college students success and academic excellence during their academic career.
