Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Abdul-Hussein, a lecturer in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, delivered a lecture at the training course held by the Basra Municipality for its employees at its headquarters in the Basra Governorate Center on Sunday, June 22-24, 2020. The course included an explanation and clarification of the principles of garden design and engineering, a description of the types of gardens, the most important trees and shrubs that can be successfully grown in gardens, and their suitability for the governorate's weather conditions.
