The Director General welcomed the visiting deputy, with important clarifications about the work of the center and its future plans, and the talk about the pollution that occurred in the waters of the Euphrates River was occupied at the Al -Sadiq district, north of Basra, an important space of the visit.
The Director General emphasized the work of the Center for Marine Sciences in preparing a report and recommendations based on the results of the laboratory tests for the Euphrates water after the field examination conducted by specialized professors from the center after bringing samples from different areas of it to determine the percentage of pollution and its causes and put quick solutions to it.
