The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Sarmed Ghazi Muhammad, visited the Basra Agriculture Directorate, represented by its Director, Agricultural Engineer Hadi Hussein Qasim, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, to discuss and exchange views on several important issues related to the development of agricultural activity in Basra Governorate. Several proposals were presented for implementing agricultural projects, both animal and plant, to advance the agricultural sector in the governorate. At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties emphasized the need to activate mechanisms for joint cooperation between them to advance and improve the agricultural sector in the governorate.
