To our distinguished graduating students and holders of advanced degrees...
In the interest of the University of Basra in ensuring the rights of outstanding graduates and holders of advanced degrees and facilitating the procedures for including them in privileges and entitlements, we would like to inform you that the University circulated an official letter on June 30, 2025, addressed by the Administrative Assistant to all university colleges regarding updating the data of outstanding graduates and holders of advanced degrees.
The University Presidency has taken all necessary administrative and technical measures in this regard and is currently following up on the colleges' responses, which have been emphasized as urgently as possible.
We also confirm that the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, is personally following up on this matter and is paying great attention to it, given its importance in fulfilling the requirements for opening the electronic system for this segment of graduates, thus guaranteeing their rights and providing them with opportunities to benefit from the privileges allocated to them.
We ask everyone to follow official updates through the university's approved websites and pages, and to disregard inaccurate news that may be circulating on social media.
