Thesis aims to explore the potential relationship between COVID-19 (either infection or vaccination) and the development of rheumatoid arthritis, by assessing changes in the gene expression of six major immune genes. and concluded COVID-19 infection activates inflammatory pathways, and overexpression may be the initial factor that triggers a cascade of molecular changes leading to the development of the chronic inflammatory response associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Intensive studies on other immune diseases in infected and vaccinated individuals are recommended.
