The University of Basra hosted the ministerial committee for unifying social research records in the Department of Internal Affairs for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The University of Basra hosted the ministerial committee, headed by Mr. (Mr. Bassam Karim Zaidan), Director of the Department of Internal Affairs at the Ministry, and including Mr. (Assistant Professor Dr. Maitham Abdul Hussein Hamid), Director of the Department of Internal Affairs. The committee was tasked with holding a workshop for social research departments at universities in the southern region to unify work on the records of social research departments.
The workshop was attended by a group of social research officials from public and private universities. The workshop resulted in proposals and recommendations that serve social research departments and students at all academic, social, and health levels. The new records included many details that were explained in detail.
