The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a solidarity vigil to mark the anniversary of the crimes committed by the terrorist organization ISIS against the Yazidis and other ethnic groups in Iraq, with the participation of the college's deanship and staff.
Assistant Professor Dr. Raed Taha Yassin, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, emphasized that the victory in Iraq is a victory for the entire world, because the organization did not intend to stop at Iraq's borders, but rather sought to control the countries of the region to impose its ominous caliphate.
He continued, "Therefore, we must commemorate this anniversary every year and demand that the international community and all free people in the world hold accountable those responsible for this genocide from the terrorist ISIS and that justice be achieved for the victims and their families."
He emphasized the importance of remembering the heroic deeds of our people, from all branches of the armed forces to the Popular Mobilization Forces.
