Trust A.D. Huda Kazem Ahmed Teaching at the Marine Science Center Master's thesis discussion committee for student (Zahra Sakban Abdul Sahib)
from the Faculty of Pure Sciences, Department of Life Sciences, on the topic of “Survey and Diagnosis of Species of the Order Phthiraptera Parasitic on Some Domestic Bird Species in Basra Governorate.”
The thesis included a diagnostic study of the appearance and molecular characteristics of lice parasitizing certain domestic birds in Basra Governorate, along with a study of certain aspects related to the infection of domestic birds.
The results showed the effect of temperature and relative humidity on infection rates throughout the months of the year. The results also showed a high degree of host specificity.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pure Sciences presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Huda Kazem Ahmed for her efforts in reading and evaluating the scientific thesis and enriching the discussion with valuable scientific information.
