The thesis of student Abeer Adel Yassin aimed to study the effect of dill seeds on regulating estrus, fertility rates, and fertility in Arabian ewes.
The thesis included a study on 16 Arabian ewes aged 1.5-2 years and weighing 50 ± 3 kg, along with three rams aged 2-3 years and weighing 65 ± 3 kg.
The study found increased concentrations of the hormones estrogen, progesterone, and prolactin in the treatments given dill seeds.
