The Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has approved the transfer of students between the College of Education in Qurna and the colleges of the University of Basra and vice versa. We urge students to promote transfer transactions starting from Sunday 8/10/2025, and the application mechanism will be as follows:
1 - The student begins to promote the transfer transaction from the original college by submitting an official application to the scientific department, and a special form is filled out for that. What is required is attached to the transaction, and we mentioned it at the end of this announcement. This is for successful and completed students (promoting the transfer transaction for successful and completed students
2- The transfer from the original college, the scientific department, to the corresponding college and the corresponding scientific department shall be in the governorate of residence of the student who wishes to move or be hosted there.
3- The transmission mechanism is based on two axes.
✓ Promote a paper transaction from the original college. As we mentioned in paragraph 1
✓ Fill out the transfer or hosting form electronically from the original college.
4- The fees incurred for promoting the transfer transaction, as stipulated by the Ministry, are 2000 dinars for each transfer transaction.
5 - It is permissible to promote transfer treatment for successful students from the first stage to the second stage or from the second stage to the third stage only.
6 - Students in the final stages are not entitled to a promotion for transfer treatment, except for those who have been hosted for two consecutive years in the same college to which they want to transfer, in which case they have the right to transfer even if they are in the final stages.
7- Students admitted for the academic year 2025/2026 are not entitled to a transfer promotion

1- A copy of the result
2-National card
3- University identity
4- Residence card
5- Pictures
We are accepting your applications starting Sunday
10/8/2025, and the review time will be from 8:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
No transfer transaction is received after one o'clock in the afternoon, as employees are busy completing transactions that were received before this time
Note when the student completes the transfer transaction and receives the transaction
He must submit the application to the college he wants to transfer to without delay
The college he wants to transfer to will provide him with a non-objection
He brings the no-objection to our college and then completes the registration process in the SIS system
So that we, in turn, complete the administrative matter regarding his transfer to the college to which he wants to transfer and provide him with his academic record.
