Assistant Professor Dr. Habib Mohsen Hammadi, a lecturer in the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources at the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, is among the world's most prominent researchers in histology and anatomy, according to the AD Scientific Index 2025 global ranking.
Dr. Habib stated that this ranking, on a prestigious global platform that ranks more than 2.6 million researchers and 24,500 institutions in 221 countries, is based on the scientific achievements of researchers over the past five years. He was listed among the top 66 Iraqi researchers in the field of medical and health sciences/histology and anatomy, ranking 12th in Iraq in this specialty and 277th globally in the same field, making him one of the most prominent academic figures in this field.
