University of Basrah successfully removed by surgery foreign bodies from cow paunch
A trained student’s team from the college of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basrah in cooperation with the Veterinary Hospital, performed a successful surgical operation for a cow suffered from an intense bloat at the rumen site.
Follow opening the rumen, they found different foreign bodies that caused blockage and distension
The young doctors were able to remove all these bodies, and the surgery was successfully achieved
The team administrated the necessary treatment and the animal began to recuperating and full recovering after that.
